As VP and GM of Adtran Infrastructure Monitoring, Sander is an evangelist for the company’s ALM fiber monitoring solution. With over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, he has a proven track record with service providers worldwide and in bringing new technologies to the market.
He has authored and co-authored more than 20 patents, refereed over 100 papers and made several conference contributions. He is also credited with writing a chapter for the book: High Spectral Density Optical Communication Technologies. Sander has received several awards, including the Young Investigator award from the IEEE Photonics Society “for pioneering contributions in optical OFDM for fiber-optic transmission systems.” Sander received his Ph.D. degree with highest honors in electronic engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
